Perfectly Cooked is a game I designed during my first year at university, which later was developed in Unity during the Group Project Module.

The point of the game was to have a game where you, as the player, could learn how to cook from the recipes that you would play out.

​

In terms of the styling of the game, I wanted to adopt Kinaesthetic Learning styles into the game, so that it would be accessible and suitable for learning situations. Once players had completed the level with a new recipe, it was "unlocked" and could be viewed from the main menu in order to recreate it in real life.

Perfectly Cooked! Is a 2D strategy puzzle mobile game aiming to teach the player simple cooking recipes while fulfilling the order that has been made by the customer. As you progress through the game, further recipes and outlets will be unlocked, which will benefit your cooking experience.

Unlocks: Through playing the game, the player can progress through different levels, unlocking different recipes to help Kevin cook for the customers. By unlocking better recipes, more money is generated as better customers come to the kitchen, improving the cooking experience. Money can be used to upgrade the interior of the kitchen to change the aesthetic of it.

Visual Kinaesthetic Learning: The style of the game allows the player to train and test muscle memory capabilities by using Visual and Kinaesthetic learning styles. The Visual aspect is achieved through the bright and bold graphics used in the game, and the Kinaesthetic by using the senses to help you learn.

Puzzle: Players are encouraged to explore cooking possibilities in the game through logical trial and error. By completing this puzzle action, players will be able to learn a variety of different cooking skills and recipes that they can imitate in the real world.
